Hi I'm Lizzy!

Since I was young, horses have been my passion. Growing up in South Africa, we lived on a beautiful horse farm in the countryside and I spent the majority of my life competing in showjumping and eventing. Fast forward to now, I'm living in Breukelen, Utrecht and I'm a certified Equine Saddlefitting Specialist - dedicating my time to helping you and your horse find the perfect saddle.

Having always had my own horses, I quickly understood how complex saddlefitting is and how horses are constantly changing over time, plus how complex it is for owners to navigate the saddle world. Especially where being a fitter is a free trade, it’s difficult to know who to trust. Therefore education and knowledge is so important to me and I am constantly further upskilling myself.

Saddlefitting to me is more than a quick solution or a ‘one size fits all’ approach. Each horse and rider are unique and therefore require personalized attention and I look at the full picture. As a qualified accountant, I enjoy numbers and understand and place value on measurement of what I’m working with. Measuring your horse and your saddle to remove the ‘guess work’ and work with facts.

I am independent and thus work with most brands, but carry a selection of saddles from Ikonic, Connect, JC, Cavaletti and Ideal plus a small selection of second hand saddles for you to try.
